Higher Ed-NSCG graduation year

I am using NSCG sample and it seems there is no variable indicating the exact year of degree reception.

I downloaded the original data from NSCG website, and they do have information of graduation year.

I wonder if IPUMS intentionally deleted those information or if there is a variable of the exact years that I just didnt notice.

IPUMS Higher Ed does have year of degree variables, however, they are reported in 5-year intervals of years. For the highest degree there are the HDAY5 and HD03Y5 variables. For the most recent degree are the MR5YR and MR03Y5 variables. I hope these variables are helpful.
