The HHINCOME variable reports the total money income during the previous calendar year of all adult household members.
But the survey is monthly survey. Does it mean that the value of this variable do not change for the whole year?

The HHINCOME variable is part of the ASEC (Annual Social and Economic Supplement) sample of the CPS database, which asks questions about income and other such variables on an annual basis. Therefore, the HHINCOME variable is not part of the basic monthly surveys.
