Descriptive stats for ALT supplement 2012?

I am looking for age, gender, race, ethnicity data for the ALT (alternative medicine) supplement from 2012 containing 34525 respondents.

IPUMS NHIS includes data for the 2012 Complementary and Alternative Medicine supplement to the NHIS as well as demographic characteristics from the survey. I am including a brief tutorial on using the IPUMS NHIS data extract system for reference. I recommend first selecting the 2012 sample, then navigating through the topical drop-down menus to find variables of interest; you should find most variables from this supplement under the Person > Alternative Health drop down menu.
