I am trying to view some data I requested (7 samples, 7 variables) on Stata. After I downloaded and saved both the dat file and the do file on my computer, I ran the do file on Stata. Everything went smoothly (same as the video tutorial) and all variables appeared, but when I went to actually view the data, everything was blank. I’d greatly appreciate some help.
I just checked into your account and was able to download your most recent extract (#3) in STATA without any problem. Make sure, when you are decompressing your data, that you wait for the decompression process to finish before running your .do file. Your data file is quite large (almost 50,000,000 observations) so it may take a while for your computer to unzip the entire .dat file.
