Is it possible now to calculate U6 from the IPUMS CPS basic monthly data?

Two years ago it was not (Is it possible to generate the U6 unemployment rate using the data here?), but is it now possible?

Unfortunately, the answer is still the same as two years ago. Clearly you are not the only user who would benefit from this being possible, and IPUMS CPS is planning to generate an integrated version of WANTJOB for the basic monthly samples. I will be sure to pass along your interest in this variable to move it up the priority list.
