# When will the Basic Monthly CPS data for 2014 be available?

When will the Basic Monthly CPS data for 2014 be available?

The IPUMS-CPS team is currently working on integrating the CPS basic monthly datasets from 1976 to present. There is no official release date for the 2014 sample at this time, but we anticipate it will be released by the end of the year. However, all of the [basic monthly files](http://www.nber.org/data/cps_basic.html) and [command files](http://www.nber.org/data/cps_basic_progs.html) for 2014 are currently available via NBER. The variable names in the NBER files will obviously differ from the IPUMS-CPS variable names, but they will contain the same data as will be used to eventually create our integrated variables.
