# When will the 2016 CPS ASEC data be released?

In recent years, the Census Bureau has released the public-use ASEC file in mid-September. We then release our harmonized IPUMS version within the next couple weeks. Assuming no delays in the Census Bureau release, you should anticipate a similar time frame this year.
