# When will the 2013 American Community Survey data become available?

When will the 2013 American Community Survey data become available? It looks like the one-year estimates were released by the Census Bureau last month.

The Census Bureau has released the 1-year estimates for 2013; however, IPUMS-USA uses the ACS PUMS file. Currently, the Census Bureau is planning on releasing the 1-year 2013 ACS PUMS file on [October 23rd](http://www.census.gov/acs/www/data_documentation/2013_release_schedule/). Generally, IPUMS-USA releases the harmonized version of the 1-year ACS within one month of the initial Census Bureau release.
