# Survey dates for 2014 IHIS data set?

Sampling and interviewing for the National Health Interview Survey are continuous throughout each year, which means respondents can be given the survey during any month.

Information about the month of a respondent’s NHIS interview is found in the variable [INTERVWMO](https://www.ihis.us/ihis-action/variables/INTERVWMO#codes_section). A relatively small number of persons were interviewed in the year after the sample year. These individuals can be identified by the variable [INTERVWYR](https://www.ihis.us/ihis-action/variables/INTERVWYR#codes_section).
