# IPUMS-CPS: Among different types of weights, which one should I use for INCWAGE at individual level analysis?

For person-level analyses using ASEC data, you should use the [WTSUPP](https://cps.ipums.org/cps-action/variables/WTSUPP#codes_section)variable. More information about CPS weights and when to use them can be found [here](https://cps.ipums.org/cps-action/faq#ques7).
