Data for number of birth of boys and girls in small and large communities in different countries.

The percentage of birth of boy’s is a very nice example of the law of large and small numbers.

You can see use of this data at www.vustat.eu for several countries.( Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Spain. But I am looking for more countries, because it is very nice if there is data from the own country of the students.

There are a couple of IPUMS projects that might be of interest to you. The IPUMS International project provides census data from many countries around the world. The IPUMS DHS project provides DHS data for a number of developing countries. Both of these projects provide data on births of boys and girls.
