Basic Monthly CPS data are typically published by the Census Bureau within 7-10 days of the monthly Employment Situation Report (schedule [here](https://www.bls.gov/schedule/2023/04_sched.htm)). The IPUMS CPS team works to integrate newly released microdata as quickly as possible. For basic monthly surveys, this typically ranges from a few days to a few weeks after the source microdata are published. The release of the April 2023 BMS data is a bit delayed as we work on how to handle [changes introduced by the Census Bureau to earnings variables](https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/cps/technical-documentation/user-notes/cps_2023_01.html). The IPUMS CPS team hopes to have the data up in the next week or so. We will promptly post news about the release to the [IPUMS CPS revision history page](https://cps.ipums.org/cps-action/revisions) and announce this via [Twitter](https://twitter.com/ipums) as well.
