# Applying PERWT to STATEICP, IND1950 and OCC1950

How should I interpret PERWT for a given individual when examining STATEICP, IND1950 and OCC1950 codes? Can I assume that the PERWT indicates how many individuals in a given state have that particular IND1950 and OCC1950 category?
