Does IPUMS have an estimated release date for the 2026 Fertility and Marriage Supplement sample? The June 2026 monthly data has already been released, so I was expecting the supplement to come out alongside it.

CPS supplement data are not released with the corresponding basic monthly survey data from the same month—they are released later, typically by about 6-12 months, though the exact timing varies by supplement, and is not always consistent from year to year. The 2024 Fertility and Marriage Supplement data were released in February 2025, and IPUMS then released the data in August 2025. Once the 2026 supplement data are released (likely in 2027), the IPUMS CPS team will work quickly to process and release them. All data releases are announced on our revision history page, and we also inform users of new data and updates via our email newsletter.
