# 2024 TIGER/Line Shapefiles from the Census

Hi there, I’m looking for [these](https://www.census.gov/geographies/mapping-files/time-series/geo/tiger-line-file.html) but have not been able to locate them here. Am I missing them somewhere?

Dear Cam,

We don’t currently disseminate shapefiles based on the 2024 TIGER/Line files. We typically process and add new shapefiles when new 5-year American Community Survey (ACS) data are released. The 2020-2024 ACS, which report data for units contained in the 2024 TIGER/Line files, will be released in December 2025. That’s when NHGIS adds the files to its dissemination system.

Unfortunately, we did not download the files from the Census Bureau’s FTP site before it became inaccessible. I definitely wish we had!

I believe the [TIGERweb REST](https://tigerweb.geo.census.gov/tigerwebmain/TIGERweb_main.html) Services are still available, and may have 2024 data.

Do you have 2023 Tiger or ADDRFEAT by any chance?

Dear Scott,

We do not have the ADDRFEAT data in NHGIS. We do have 2023 TIGER-derived versions of the census units for which ACS data were tabulated (e.g., states, counties, census tract, block groups, places, county subdivisions, etc.).
