# 2020 Demographic Profile and DHC

Will you make available the newly released Demographic Profile and Demographic and Housing Characteristics data sets published today by the Census Bureau? If so, any idea when they might be available on IPUMS?

We will add the 2020 DHC to NHGIS. It’s difficult to predict how long it will take because of its unique structure and content (unlike ACS files, which we add annually). I project we’ll release it between late June and late August, and we’ll announce it by email when we do. We don’t plan to add the Demographic Profile Data.
